Since its founding in 1995, Gildea Communications has been providing insightful, results-oriented marketing services to the high-tech, financial services and nonprofit sectors. Our mission is to make a significant, positive difference in the fortunes of every client we work with. We believe that the true value of any consulting firm you work with is to provide an independent perspective from a vantage point outside of the constraints of day-to-day operations. Most importantly, we develop an in-depth understanding of the details of your business which assures that every marketing dollar invested aligns with the results you want to achieve.

Gildea Communications takes a comprehensive approach to marketing. We believe that successful marketing programs are closely linked to an organization’s new business generation, operational, and product development process and initiatives. Our approach is grounded on insightful analysis and then we apply a creative spark that makes customers and prospects take notice.

Nora F. Gildea combines 20 years of experience in rapidly-growing, primarily VC funded ventures, with more than a decade as a marketing consultant. Nora is an expert in developing strategy, positioning, and tactical marketing programs for introducing new and innovative products and services to market. She is the quintessential entrepreneur, building new programs where there is no blueprint to follow and applying limited resources to create a world-class presence for her clients.

For a leading data communications firm, she played a key role in acquisitions and managing strategic partnerships along with building the marketing team from the ground up. As a founder of a sustainable transport venture, she gained valuable BtoC experience to add to her high tech chops. In every role, she developed superior marketing and product management organizations and turning promising talent into superstar performance. She began her marketing career in the media and publishing field and her work has been recognized in the advertising community by several Hatch awards for excellence.

Nora received an MBA from Northeastern University and completed her undergraduate work at Brandeis University. She spent time studying at L’Institut D’Etudes Politiques in Paris and has lived abroad at various points in her career. She also holds a graduate certificate from WPI in Medical Device Management. Nora has served on a number of nonprofit boards including the Lexington Education Foundation (LEF), where she  pioneered a new corporate outreach program.  She has also chaired marketing for Women Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology (WEST) and the Greater Boston Chapter of the PDMA. When Nora isn’t riding the wave of a new marketing initiative, you can find her competing at horse shows throughout New England.
